Look What I Did!

In anticipation of all of the craziness this week (the show opens on Friday), we spent a quiet weekend at home, and Sunday you and Amma got to hang out most of the day.  I borrowed the company camera, thinking I'd be able to take all of these amazing shots.  But being the camera rookie I am, there were more settings than I knew what to do with, and as a result, we ended up with a lot of blurry photos.  I did catch you in one of your efforts to roll over, though, and by the end of day, you had it.  Biggest issue is trying to get over the top of your elbow, especially since your fist is usually jammed in your mouth during the process.

Success!

A World of Discovery

You have truly hit that 4 - 6 month benchmark a wee bit early.  After discovering your fists, you are now checking out other things around you and also grabbing at them, although your hand-eye coordination still needs some work.  Once while changing a particularly icky diaper, your mom had your feet hiked up almost to your nose, and you were just fascinated by your toes!  You were also very tickled by the whole process and gave us one of those wonderful belly laughs of yours...

You're also enjoying your toys more and more.  Some of your favorites make sounds, but you also seem just as fascinated during quiet times with a few.

Wiggle Worm!

I realized I was getting behind in my photos so I decided to take advantage of post-bath time to prop you up on the chair (something you NORMALLY enjoy) and snap a few pics.  But, by the time I had grabbed the camera and turned it on, you were SOOO over it.  And now, when you’re put down somewhere you don’t want to be, you tend to show your annoyance by digging your heels in, arching your back and scooting yourself down…

But sometimes you prefer to just be lying on the floor watching what’s going on around you.

Just get a load of those eyes!!

Get.  Back.  With.  The.  Camera.  Already.

You’ve gotten pretty good at rolling from your tummy back over to your back.  Still working on getting flipped from back to front, but as you can see, you’ve almost gotten it down.

It does make diaper and clothing changes interesting…
